Tonight we're having Ground beef mushroom patties with mashed potatoes and green beans.

The kids are home from school today and enjoying hanging out with friends.
Ciera has softball practice tonight.
Logan has a basketball skill evaluation tonight for the upcoming fall season (he'll be playing flag football as well).

I need to get the house partially cleaned and a suitcase packed because I am headed to visit the 3 year olds and the babes!! Tomorrow I will load a giant cooler full of milk, pick up my friend Melissa and drive for 12 hours. After a few hours of sleep I should be awakened by beautiful noises and beautiful faces. Melissa and I are both thrilled to pieces to be taking this trip. We have to drive home on Monday, but it will be worth every moment of a 24 hour round trip drive.

Ciera and Logan are staying home with their dad. Ciera has practice and a lesson scheduled over the long weekend and Logan has orientation for his flag football team. Fortunately all of our colds are much better today and we are feeling like we're almost healthy.
